Course objectives of learning adult education
→ To provide a second chance for those who are poor in society or those who have lost access to education for other reasons to achieve social justice and equal access to education.
→ To provide knowledge that improves professional qualifications and to achieve civic, social, moral and cultural attitudes.
→ To help adult learners satisfy their personal needs and achieve their professional goals and develop in the Developing economy, change their family life and perform better within their work places.
→ To provide learning opportunities for adults to help society find solutions for crises like hunger, pandemics and poverty.
→ To convince and encourage them to adopt new and improved technology in farming operations as the economy of Uganda majorly depends on Agriculture.
→ To help adults to probe, identify and change assumptions, beliefs and values that shape how they learn, act, think and meet their needs.
→ To enable adult education learners to know how to write and read, receive knowledge of record keeping, acquire basic basic knowledge of computer science and acquire the basics of speaking English language and Swahili language for easy communication.
