To develop an understanding about different stitching techniques for adult, infants, big or small garments.

The beneficiaries are new literates and people with low education levels for self employment.

To make the students aware of the basic textile design concepts and fashion theories.

Course objectives of learning tailoring
→ Students should know how to operate a sewing machine safely, adjust the thread the stitch type and change the machine needle.
→ Students should learn basic alteration and repair techniques. They should gain skills in taking measurements, adjusting garment fit and making.
→ To be able to recognize basic sewing equipment and its function. Identify sewing machine parts and their functions, safety and maintenance.
→ Students after the course should be able to provide high quality, custom-made clothing and tailoring services. Also to create professional-grade garments from customized patterns.
→ To be awarded a certificate in elementary tailoring after the the completion of the course satisfactorily so as to be recognized as a professional Tailor.
→ To empower the marginalized , vulnerable, girls and widows to build self confidence, self support and self sustaining.
→ Students will be able to answer the questions base on their knowledge about obtaining measurements and study in basic calculations.
