Course objectives of learning playing musical instruments
→ To promote the highest levels of human aspiration and artistic integrity through the composition, documentation and performance of music.
→ To develop an analytical creative and intuitive understanding of music as a cultural language.
→ To be able to define musical instruments family terms (string, woodwind, brass and percussion) and describe musical instruments in the string, woodwind, among others.
→ To learn playing many musical instruments, learn different playing techniques, learn the unique sound and timbres of different instruments, learn many ways of Playing an instrument, learn that some instruments are primarily rhythmic, while others are primarily melodic and learn to make music both solo and group experience.
→ To develop the ability to hear, identify and work conceptually with elements of music such as rhythm, melody, harmony, timbre, texture, form and ability to read and realize a range of musical notation styles.
→ To improve the cognitive and physical aspects of the human body; improve memory, relieve stress, make the learner smarter, build confidence and give sense of achievement.
→ To organize learners compete favorably on the employment market as professionals in musical instrument playing and to be self reliant, able to become self employed.
